  If you're a fan of Scott Adkins, I hope you've seen him in action as Boyka in the Undisputed sequels. He's gone from prison house baddie, to God fearing face hero, but he is a straight up badass. I still can't figure out why Scott isn't getting the big Hollywood hero roles. They're finally using him, but mostly in second-rate villainous henchmen parts. Wake up and get woke up Hollywood on the awesomeness that is Scott fuckin' Adkins.

• 'You don't know a legend when it's punching you in the face?'

• Yuri Boyka has to save a community centre by punching dudes in the knees.

• Yuri Boyka is the ultimate cinematic badass and Scott Adkins is a God.

• The fights are brutal and well-staged saved from some excessive slow motion. My complain about them is that Chapkanov isn’t as good a storyteller as Florentine, so the narrative movements inside the fights are far more arbitrary (“Boyka is losing, oh ok, now he is beating the crap of the other guy”). The world around Boyka is far shallower, none of the other fighters register at all and the mafia plot is even worse than usual (that final non-ring action sequence is not good). Adkins masochism does come through and carries the film o the finish line, this is the only Undisputed entry that is an actual star vehicle and benefits from both Adkins charisma and his taste for taking a pounding.

• Sieht noch einmal deutlich billiger aus als die ohnehin nicht pompös ausgestatteten Teile II und III, kann aber wieder mit kraftvollen Kampfszenen punkten. Scott Adkins und die UNDISPUTED-Reihe bleiben eine sichere Bank im oft schlockigen DTV-Actionsumpf, wenn auch die Stilsicherheit Isaac Florentines auf dem Regiestuhl hier und da schmerzlich vermisst wird.

• Almost as good as Undisputed 2. A new director brings a cliche, but passable story, along with well shot fight scenes that are up to par with the others.

• 3 stars for the fighting scenes, not for the story.. good mindless watch on a Saturday.

• These films are DTV trash with little to no substance? Yes. Did I enjoy myself watching them? VERY MUCH.

  I don’t know what any of this says about me but I’m happy enough to ride this Adkins train as far as it’ll take me.

• I fucking enjoyed this film. It probably deserves 3 or 3.5 stars but goddamn was this a satisfying action film after having seen so many disappointing ones.
